A guide to tapas in Murcia
Like most regions in Spain, Murcia has several tapas dishes that are unique to the area. The word tapas refers to the lid on a wine glass, which is a fitting name since dishes are served on the lids. Croquettes
Although ham croquettes are the most traditional type of croquette, you can also increasingly find them made with wild mushrooms, king crab, squid, prawns, cod or different types of strong cheeses, like Cabrales.
